PONCHATOULA, La. (WGNO) — Three people are in custody accused of a shooting that occurred in Ponchatoula, according to the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office.

Suspected shooters in the incident are 18-year-old David Coleman and 20-year-old Jamario Terrell and Amyra Selders.

In the morning of Wednesday, Oct. 21, TPSO deputies received a call about a vehicle being shot at on Rose Drive in Ponchatoula.

According to TPSO deputies, they learned of an argument at a home, and when the victim left the fight, he was reportedly shot at but was not injured. The suspects then drove away.

The deputies were able to track down the suspect’s vehicle to Booker Road II in Hammond, where Coleman, Terrell and Selders were then taken into custody, according to TPSO.

After the arrest, deputies said Coleman and Terrell disclosed that they discarded their weapons into a wooded area.

Coleman was booked on one count of aggravated assault with a firearm and obstruction of justice. Terrell and Selders were both booked on one count each of accessory after the fact – aggravated assault by drive-by shooting. Selders was also booked for a protective order violation.
