THIBIDAUX, La. (WGNO) — A Thibodaux man accused in a sex abuse investigation, is in police custody, according to the Attorney General Liz Murrill’s Office.
Agent with the AG Louisiana Bureau of Investigations reported receiving a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children on the actions of 79-year-old Roy J. Molaison.
On Thursday, Oct. 23, the Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office arrested Molaison. He was booked into the Lafourche Parish Correctional Complex on a charge of possessing child sexual abuse material under the age of 13.
His bond is currently set at $25,000.
The investigation remains ongoing.
