Two injured in four-vehicle crash on Lakeland Drive

JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Two people were injured during a four-vehicle crash in Jackson.

The crash occurred on Lakeland Drive westbound at the Interstate 55 North Frontage Road around 2:30 p.m. on October 23, 2025.

Bailey Martin, spokesperson for the Mississippi Department of Public Safety (MDPS), said Capitol police, AMR and Jackson firefighters responded to the scene. Two people were transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. No other injuries were reported.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
