This boy is missing and may be headed out of state, Mariposa County deputies say

MARIPOSA COUNTY, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A teen is missing from Mariposa County, and according to the sheriff’s office, they have reason to believe he may be headed out of state.

Deputies say 15-year-old Eric Brown was last seen around 8 a.m. Wednesday at his home on Highway 140 in the Cathey’s Valley area.

They say he may be attempting to travel to Utah, although he has no known connections there.

Eric is 5 feet 3 inches tall, approximately 100 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

Anyone who has seen Eric or has any information about his whereabouts is asked to contact the Mariposa County Sheriff’s Office at 209-966-3615.
