Resident spotted kayaking through Visalia neighborhood after storm

VISALIA, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – Some valley residents opted for non-traditional transportation on Wednesday after a storm left them with significant flooding.

Just after 11 a.m., Isacc Jimenez captured footage of a resident kayaking through a Visalia neighborhood.

He says it happened on East Oak and North Sol Street.

According to his video, the water appeared to be about a foot deep.

Thankfully, for motorists in the area, he says it quickly receded as soon as the rain stopped.
