Lee County pair charged with assaulting vulnerable adult

LEE COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV) – Lee County deputies arrested a man and a woman after they allegedly attacked a vulnerable adult.

Lee County Sheriff Jim Johnson said the investigation began after investigators received information from the Prentiss County Sheriff’s Office and Adult Protection Services regarding an incident involving the alleged physical assault of a vulnerable adult. He said the information included a video posted on social media platforms that appeared to show a man and a woman assaulting another woman.

After an investigation, Johnson said Bradley Hamblin, 34, and Katlynn Hamblin, 27, of Baldwyn, were arrested on October 22, 2025. They were each charged with one count of infliction of pain on a vulnerable adult and one count of sexual battery.

Their bonds were set at $250,000 each, and they’re being held at the Lee County Jail. The sheriff said additional charges may be forthcoming.

According to Johnson, the victim is in a safe location and receiving care and services from Adult Protection Services.
