Avoyelles Parish arrests: Theft and firearms charges detailed

MARKSVILLE, La. (WNTZ) – The Avoyelles Parish Sheriff’s Office has released its arrest report for the week of October 13–19, detailing multiple arrests across the parish for charges ranging from drug possession and theft to firearms violations and contempt of court.

Among those booked were:

• Alexis Lashay Armand, 19, of Cottonport, booked Oct. 14 for illegal possession of stolen firearms.
• Tyrol James Ballard, 25, of Marksville, booked Oct. 14 for possession of Schedule I drugs.
• Tyrone Renee Ballard, 49, of Cottonport, booked Oct. 16 for contempt of court – failure to appear.
• Travis James Bardwell, 41, of Hessmer, booked Oct. 13 for illegal possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and contempt of court – failure to appear.
• Roy Bell, 69, of Baton Rouge, booked Oct. 13 for aggravated battery, simple battery, and disturbing the peace by fighting.
• Trinity Blue, 26, of Cheneyville, booked Oct. 15 for criminal trespassing, theft,and simple burglary.
• James K. Bonaventure, 39, of Marksville, booked Oct. 13 for remaining on premises after being forbidden, resisting an officer, public intimidation, criminal abandonment, and disturbing the peace.
• James Christal, 34, of Simmesport, booked Oct. 17 for disturbing the peace while intoxicated.
• Keith Colson, 34, of Fifth Ward, booked Oct. 15 for remaining on premises after being forbidden and disturbing the peace.
• Joshua Curry, 43, of Port Allen, booked Oct. 18 for theft.
• Anthony Day, 40, of Cottonport, booked Oct. 16 for disturbing the peace while intoxicated.
• Morgan Taylor H. DuPont, 25, of DuPont, booked Oct. 15 for theft and possession of Schedule I drugs with intent to distribute.
• Martine Grant, 44, of Simmesport, booked Oct. 17 for contempt – failure to appear.
• James Lee Guillot, 18, of Marksville, booked Oct. 18 for stalking, harassment by telephone, terrorizing, and aggravated assault.
• Jerald Gunn, 63, of Marksville, booked Oct. 13 for criminal trespassing and resisting an officer.
• Gerald Harp, 58, of Alexandria, booked Oct. 14 for possession of Schedule I drugs with intent to distribute, illegal carrying of a weapon, possession of Schedule II drugs, and possession of Schedule IV drugs.
• Edward Hullaby, 43, of Marksville, booked Oct. 15 for possession of Schedule I drugs with intent to distribute and possession of Schedule II drugs.
• Lynzarek Rontrez James, 38, of Alexandria, booked Oct. 17 for battery of a dating partner.
• Onterrio James, 20, of Marksville, booked Oct. 15 for contempt – failure to appear.
• Kesha L. Johnson, 33, of Cottonport, booked Oct. 19 for disturbing the peace.
• Lalisa L.M. Keller, 33, of Mansura, booked Oct. 15 for contempt – failure to appear and failure to comply with terms of sentence.
• Antonio Derell Kyle, 45, of Cottonport, booked Oct. 16 for disturbing the peace while intoxicated.
• Johnny Lachney, 49, of Hessmer, booked Oct. 18 for contempt – failure to appear (traffic).
• Raymond Lee, 62, of Marksville, booked Oct. 18 for disturbing the peace and aggravated criminal damage to property.
• Jordan Ryan Murray, 38, of Mansura, booked Oct. 17 for contempt – failure to appear, introduction of contraband into a penal institution, and possession of Schedule IV drugs.
• Omarion M. Pride, 18, of Ville Platte, booked Oct. 14 for illegal possession of stolen firearms.
• Christopher W. Roy, 35, of Marksville, booked Oct. 19 for domestic abuse battery and child endangerment.
• Lionel Simon, 21, of Marksville, booked Oct. 14 for theft.
• Alexis Stevenson, 28, of Bunkie, booked Oct. 19 for contempt – failure to comply with terms of sentence.
• Kelvin L. Webb, 38, of Batchelor, booked Oct. 15 for contempt – failure to appear.
• Grant L. Williams, 20, of Marksville, booked Oct. 14 for driving while intoxicated (first offense), modified exhaust system violation, improper passing on the right, and possession of alcoholic beverages in a motor vehicle.
• Brittany Wright, 25, of Marksville, booked Oct. 19 for disturbing the peace.

The Avoyelles Parish Sheriff’s Office reminds residents that all suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
