2 IU students struck by motorist
BLOOMINGTON, Ind. — Two Indiana University students were struck by a driver early Saturday morning.

According to the Indiana University Police Department, around 12:25 a.m. on Saturday, police responded to a call of two pedestrians being struck on 17th Street.

IUPD confirmed to FOX59/CBS4 that both of the people struck were IU students. The driver, also an IU student, remained at the scene and cooperated with police.

Both students struck were transported to a local hospital; the investigation remains ongoing by IUPD.

No additional details are available at this time.
