WGNO’s Kenny Lopez takes us inside for a tour.
“The Museum of Illusions is a mind-bending, immersive experience, where we blend art, science, and psychology,” Pien Koopman, Public Relations Manager for the Museum of Illusions said.
Koopman said, “To go back a little bit, back in 2015, there were two friends in Croatia that were inspired by puzzles and dilemma games and illusions, and they thought why don’t we build a museum.”
There are now over 60 locations in 28 different countries.
“The one here in New Orleans is number 63,” Koopman said.
There are several different rooms to explore like the building illusion room, the reversed room, the following eyes exhibit, the vortex tunnel, the walk-in kaleidoscope room, the head on the platter room, and so many more that are sure to engage and amuse guests.
The Museum of Illusions is now open, seven days a week.
