Lost dog rescued from canal by Fresno Fire

FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A lost dog was rescued from drowning thanks to quick thinking by Fresno Fire.

Crew members say Daisy was stuck in a canal near Palm and Dakota avenues.

After a long swim, Fresno Fire says she finally made her way to the ladder, where the crew from Engine 5 was able to pull her to safety.

The next stop was Petco to check for a microchip. That’s when they learned she had a family that was missing her.
