According to Freeport Police, at 12 p.m. on Tuesday, October 21st, officers executed a search warrant in the 300 block of N. West Avenue.
In the course of the search, police recovered 110 grams of cocaine and 240 grams of cannabis, along with the aforementioned weapons.
Aveon Curry, 21, and Heather Curry, 39, were arrested.
Aveon Curry was charged with possession with intent to deliver more than 100 grams of a controlled substance, armed violence, possession with intent to deliver more than 30 grams of cannabis, and possession of a firearm without a Firearm Owner’s Identification card.
Heather Curry faces charges of felony possession of a firearm with a revoked FOID card.
Both were taken to the Stephenson County Jail where they await the outcome of a pretrial detention hearing.
