Leibner earned the honor after a dominant week on both ends of the field. She scored the game-winning goal in the sixth minute against North American University on a powerful free kick and anchored a defense that recorded two clean sheets against North American and Texas A&M–Victoria.

The recognition marks the first Player of the Week award earned by an LSUA women’s soccer player this season.

The Generals will travel to face LSU Shreveport on Thursday before returning home Saturday to take on Louisiana Christian University in Alexandria.
