Blazers finalize roster ahead of the 2025-26 season

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — The Portland Trail Blazers have officially finalized their roster ahead of their home opener on Wednesday, Oct. 22, against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

The team has seen a number of changes over the summer months, especially with the addition of Chinese rookie Yang Hansen and the return of nine-time all-star Damian Lillard.

Head coach Chauncy Billups also announced Tuesday the starting lineup for the season opener as Jrue Holiday, Shaedon Sharpe, Toumani Camara, Deni Avdija, and Donovan Clingan.

On Tuesday, they exercised the 2026-27 team option on the rookie contracts of guard Scoot Henderson, forward Kris Murray, and Clingan. The Blazers additionally signed four-year contract extensions for both guard Sharpe and forward Camara.

Javonte Cooke also agreed to a two-way contract with the Blazers after playing in three games for the Blazers during the preseason and three years in the G League before that.

Portland takes on Minnesota at 7 p.m.
