A mystical masquerade ball: The Queen's Labyrinth at the Elms Mansion
Look no further than The Queen’s Labyrinth Ball being hosted at the Elms Mansion on St. Charles Avenue in New Orleans.
WGNO’s Kenny Lopez shows us what you can expect.
“It’s an elevated Halloween Masquerade ball, so for this year the theme is ‘The Court of Fire and Fate.’ It is a twisted baroque fantasy, think of a red and black Marie Antoinette,” Belinda Belk, Owner of Blue Gardenia Events said.
The Queen’s Labyrinth Ball is an immersive experience for its guests with characters adding to all the mystique and fun.
“We have a mischievous duchess who’s always up to trouble, and a jester who’s always causing trouble around the labyrinth, and then we have our beautiful queen,” Belk said.
Blue Gardenia Events is hosting this mystical masquerade which will have delicious food and specialty crafted cocktails.
“We have so many exciting entertainment features for The Queen’s Labyrinth, and one of them is we have our dancing ravens from Frenchmen Street Productions,” Belk said.
“Then you’ll walk into our actual labyrinth, our maze of entertainment, where around each corner there will be surprises everywhere. We have so much immersive talent, you get to interact with our characters, you can ask them questions, you can get tokens from them and unlock secret experiences. There’s exuberance, there’s debauchery, it is everything that New Orleans is wrapped up into a masquerade ball,” she said.
Frenchmen Street Productions, Lady Midnight Productions, Elms Mansion, Element Rentals, Andrew Alwert Photography and BE Collective all contributed to this party.
The Queen’s Labyrinth Ball is Friday, Oct. 24 at 7:00 p.m. at the Elms Mansion.
