Investigators believe that the woman was struck by a motorist who was travelling southbound of Shelby Street. The motorist who allegedly struck the pedestrian remained at the crash scene.

Another motorist, however, later ran into the vehicle that initially struck the pedestrian. The motorist who allegedly hit the vehicle that struck the pedestrian fled the scene.
