Photo Essay: Thousands of Democracy Defenders Protest Trump at ‘No Kings’ Rallies Throughout Bucks County
Local residents up and down Bucks County turned out to exercise their First Amendment rights to free speech and freedom of assembly Saturday, joining millions in a nationwide No Kings day of action against Trump and his administration’s authoritarian designs for the nation.

According to organizers, there were more than 2,700 No Kings rallies scheduled in every state. The nationwide actions were organized by the Indivisible Project as part of the ongoing NO KINGS Campaign.
Photographer Mike Maney captured the joyful resistance at Doylestown’s No Kings rally Saturday afternoon, where thousands of area residents showed up with signs, costumes, smiles, and love of country.
Photographer David Iskra was on the scene in lower Bucks County documenting Morrisville’s No Kings rally. Indivisible Bucks County and Yardley Indivisible organized the event.
Amy Knecht reported from Perkasie’s Lenape Park where close to 1,000 people woke up bright and early to celebrate and defend democracy. Upper Bucks United Indivisible helped organize the event.
Finally, Michelle Leiby captured Indivisible Lambertville-New Hope’s pro-democracy, No Kings rally where over 3,000 people participated.
