At around 12:36 p.m. on October 16, emergency crews responded to a collision on U.S. Highway 84 near South Ennis Creek Road.
According to the preliminary investigation, a Ford Bronco entered U.S. Highway 84 from South Ennis Creek Road. It began traveling north when a motorcycle carrying two people, also heading north, approached from behind. Investigators say the motorcyclist failed to control their speed and crashed into the back of the Bronco.
The passenger on the motorcycle, identified as 50-year-old Theresa Martin of Hot Springs, Arkansas, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the motorcycle was transported to a hospital with incapacitating injuries, and the Bronco driver was uninjured.
