Thousands fill the Indiana Statehouse lawn for No Kings protest
According to a press release from MADVoters.org, the protest kicked off with an activist fair starting at 11 a.m., followed by a rally at 12 p.m., with the march to the Indiana Statehouse at 2 p.m.
The march originated from three different locations, all of which converged at the statehouse while protesters chanted and waved signs in protest against President Donald Trump and his administration.
“This event is a direct response to the ongoing complicity of Indiana’s state government officials with the authoritarian agenda of the Trump regime,” the release said.
This is not the first time protesters took the Indiana capital to petition against President Trump and the current administration.
A No Kings protest also took place at the Indiana Statehouse in June.
