PINEVILLE, La. (KTAL/KMSS) — Destanee Stewart, a freshman psychology major from Natchitoches, was crowned Miss Louisiana Christian University 2025 on Thursday, October 16, 2025, and will advance to compete in Miss Louisiana in Monroe next June.

According to a news release from LCU, Stewart’s platform was “Healthy Minds Healthy Future,” and she performed an acrobatic routine for the talent portion.
Abigail Hammond, a junior from Pineville, was named first runner-up, received a $1,000 scholarship, and won the talent award. Bethany Martin was voted Miss Congeniality.
The pageant, a campus tradition since 1961, is part of the Miss America system and highlights scholarship, service, style, and success.
