NATCHITOCHES, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – Northwestern State University Theatre and Dance will perform Molière’s classic comedy The Learned Ladies, October 29 – November 2, 2025,  in Theatre West.

Showtimes are 7:30 p.m. Oct. 29 – Nov. 1 and 2 p.m. Nov. 1-2. The 80-minute play is recommended for ages 10 and up. Tickets are available on Eventbrite.

Set in an 18th-century household consumed by scholarly obsession, the story uses poetry and philosophy as weapons of control and confusion. Molière’s sharp humor highlights the dangers of self-importance while celebrating the joy of learning.

The cast features Jezek Maxwell, Ava Schorr, Tyla Stewart, Abby Delanoix, and Caleb Barton, among others. Scott Burrell directs the production, with design by Jessie Parr, Andrew Killion, Raleigh Lusignan, and Elizabeth Campbell.
