Hungry bear steals trash bag, heads toward Glendale home: Video

A hungry bear was seen digging through a knocked-over garbage barrel before running off in Glendale overnight.

Video shared with KTLA by Roberto Morales showed the animal halfway inside a resident’s barrel around 10:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Eventually, the bear emerges with a full white trash bag and runs up an embankment.

The bear appears to head toward the backyard of a nearby home in the Oakmont area.

Officials say that bear sightings are common in the area and suggest that resident keep their garbage indoors until collection morning.
