Cornelius firefighters rescue two from overturned vehicle

CORNELIUS, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Cornelius-Lemley Fire Rescue was dispatched to a multi-vehicle crash at Torrence Chapel Road and Knox Road early Thursday morning.

Engine 2 arrived to a two-vehicle accident with one overturned. Two patients were pinned in the vehicle.

Firefighters quickly began working to provide medical care, stabilize the vehicle, and extricate. Total extrication of both patients took approximately 15 minutes.
