1 teen dead in Lafayette shooting

LAFAYETTE, Ind. — An Attica teenager has died after a shooting in Lafayette, according to the Lafayette Police Department.

Grace Fultz, 20, was charged with the following offenses:

• Involuntary Manslaughter
• Reckless Homicide
• Criminal Recklessness
• Pointing a Firearm

Officers were dispatched on Wednesday, Oct. 15, at approximately 10:52 p.m. on a report of a shooting at the 900 block of N 9th St.

Upon arrival, officers found a person inside the residence with a gunshot wound.

Dynasty Battle, 18, was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency medical responders.

Fultz allegedly shot Dynasty with a small caliber pistol that was recovered from the scene.
