LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – The deadline for Arkansas property owners to pay their taxes is quickly approaching.
The deadline is Wednesday, Oct. 15.
Taxes can be paid online, in person at the county courthouse or by mail.
According to state officials, the amount of taxes that are owed is based on the assessed value of the property, which is determined by the county assessor.
Failure to pay property taxes by the deadline will result in a penalty and additional fees.
To check the amount owed, state residents can visit the Arkansas property tax website, which includes links to online portals to make a payment by county.
