Police arrest Indy woman allegedly found with 24 pounds of cocaine worth $176K
On Monday, officers with the Whitestown Metropolitan Police Department conducted a traffic stop around 8:30 p.m. on a black Chevrolet Sedan on Interstate 65 southbound near the 131 mile marker. After the vehicle complied, WMPD said officers reportedly smelled a “strong odor” of marijuana coming from the car.
During the search, officers located a black duffel bag that WMPD said contained 10 large silver-wrapped packages. The substances later tested positive for cocaine, weighing around 24.5 pounds. The estimated street value of the seized drugs is around $176,000, according to WMPD.

Police placed 36-year-old Tionia Miles under arrest at the scene and brought her to the Boone County Jail, where she faces preliminary charges of dealing in cocaine, which are level 2 felonies.
