Armed robbery reported at Whitestown Holiday Inn; Police launch investigation

WHITESTOWN, Ind. — The Whitestown Metropolitan Police Department is investigating an armed robbery that reportedly occurred at a Holiday Inn on Saturday.

WMPD indicated that the robbery was first reported to Boone County Communications. Officers were subsequently dispatched to investigate the incident at 9:43 p.m.

Police reported that the Holiday Inn in question is located at 6064 S. Main St. in Whitestown.

After an investigation, WMPD determined nobody was injured during the robbery. The agency has indicated that it can’t release any additional details about the reported robbery because its detectives are still actively investigating it.
