Phil Crowley launches re-election bid for Taylor County Judge
Crowley has served as Taylor County Judge for nearly three years. He shared that throughout that time, he has worked with County Commissioners to add five constables, five sheriffs, two full-time ambulances/stations, a felony prosecutor, an investigator, and increased funding for the volunteer fire department.
“I promised community involvement and accessibility, and currently sit on numerous nonprofit boards and attend or volunteer at as many events around the County as I can. I’ve always said that you may not agree with every decision I make, but it will always be easy to find me to tell me your thoughts on issues and ask me mine,” Crowley shared. “I truly appreciate the privilege of representing and serving the people of Taylor County, and I respectfully request your support to continue working for my fellow Citizens.”
He shared that during his first campaign, he promised to “competently and efficiently rule” on roughly 800 civil cases. To date, he has issued rulings in nearly 2,500 psychiatric hospital commitment, probate and guardianship cases.
