Manchester duo allegedly caught with drugs, meth pipe during traffic stop
Around 7:50 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 10, London police claimed the driver of a vehicle was behaving erratically and pulled the car over.
During the traffic stop, police K-9 Jett was said to have sniffed the air around the vehicle and alerted the officer to the possible presence of narcotics.
While searching the vehicle, police claimed a green, leafy substance and a crystal-like substance in a silver metal container were found inside a purse.
The driver, 61-year-old Calvin Napier, and the passenger, 49-year-old Melena Henson, were arrested.
A glass meth pipe was also found inside the purse, which the police said belonged to Henson. In an arrest citation, the police noted the pipe was burnt and had a white crystal-like residue inside.
The police department said Napier was charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of a substance. Henson was charged with:
