On Thursday, September 25, deputies received a report of possible child abuse involving three children, ages one to nine.
Based on the nature of the allegations, the Department of Social Services drug tested the parents and all three children.
The parents, 36-year-old Kyle Robert Crill and 30-year-old Lora Lee Estes, tested positive for cocaine and marijuana, officials said. All three children also tested positive for cocaine exposure.
During interviews with detectives, both Crill and Estes admitted to using cocaine and acknowledged to leaving the drug accessible in the home within reach of the children.
Both Crill and Estes were charged with three counts of felony child abuse and booked under a $350,000 secured bond.
This is an ongoing investigation, the sheriff’s office said.
