Search underway for missing 11-year-old boy in Iredell County: Sheriff

IREDELL COUNTY, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — The Iredell County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the community’s help in finding a missing 11-year-old boy, who was last seen leaving his home on Hoover Road in Troutman around 9:45 a.m. on Tuesday.

11-year-old Evan Milos is described as 5 feet tall, weighing about 95 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a blue tie-dye t-shirt, black gym shorts, and black and white New Balance tennis shoes.

The sheriff’s office is currently using K9 units and drones to search the surrounding area, working hard to bring Evan home safely.

Anyone who may have seen Evan, or has any information about where he might be, is urged to call the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office at 704-878-3100 or 911.
