BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) – Baton Rouge Police say one of the people shot on Saturday was the intended target.

The shooting happened around 8:30 p.m.

Police working traffic assignments on LSU during the football game responded to the shooting on Highland Road.

Police say they found two victims who were shot. None of the injuries is considered life-threatening.

Police say the investigation determined that one of the victims was the intended target.

Both were taken to a local hospital for treatment.

BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — At least two people were injured in a shooting on LSU’s campus on Saturday, Oct. 11.

A spokesperson for the East Baton Rouge Emergency Medical Services said they took two people to the hospital after a reported shooting near Highland Road and Dalrymple Drive.
