Nearly 5,900 without power along Wasatch Front

SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) — Nearly 5,900 customers across the Wasatch Front lost power in their homes Saturday evening.

According to Rocky Mountain Power, there are scattered power outages affecting approximately 5,352 customers in Salt Lake City, Millcreek, Ogden, American Fork, and the surrounding areas.

Rocky Mountain Power’s outage map says 5,898 total customers experienced outages along the Wasatch Front.

“We apologize for the inconvenience. we have dispatched a crew to investigate and make repairs to our facilities and are working to restore your services as soon as possible. As a safety reminder, please treat all downed wires as live and dangerous,” Rocky Mountain Power said in a Facebook post.
