No. 9 Washburn got a statement win Saturday afternoon, sweeping No. 2 Nebraska-Kearney 3-0 (25-21, 25-13, 25-14).
Alex Dvorak and Keilah Rivers led the Ichabods with 10 kills each. Corinna McMullen had 17 assists while Sydney Connor had 15 in the win.
Taylor Rottinghaus added 13 digs for Washburn, while Connor had 10.
The Ichabods improve to 17-1 (6-1 MIAA), continuing its dominant season.
Washburn is back in action Thursday at home against the University of Central Missouri. Tip-off set for 6 p.m.
