South Jersey country club building destroyed in fire
HAMMONTON, N.J. (WPHL) — An early morning fire destroyed a building at the Frog Rock Golf and Country Club on Tuesday.

According to the Hammonton Fire Department, firefighters responded just before 2:45 a.m. for a reported explosion and fire.

When firefighters arrived at the country club, located at 420 Boyer Avenue, crews saw a commercial structure fully engulfed in flames, as well as nearby vegetation and wooded areas.

The Hammonton Fire Department said the fire has since been brought under control, and crews remain at the scene.

The fire remains under investigation.
