Harvard Police investigate mysterious deaths in parked vehicle

HARVARD, Ill. (WTVO) — A police officer conducting a check on a parked car in Harvard on Monday night found the dead bodies of a man and woman inside.

According to the Harvard Police Department, an officer found the car sitting with its hazard lights on in the 700 block of North Division Street around 11:52 p.m.

Upon investigation, the officer found the pair dead within.

The McHenry County Major Investigative Assistance Team was activated to investigate the deaths, police said.
