JEFFERSON PARISH, La. (WGNO) — WDSU Chief Meteorologist Devon Lucie has been arrested in connection with a domestic abuse investigation, according to arrest records.

Lucie was reportedly arrested on Oct. 5. He faces charges of domestic abuse child endangerment and resist by refuse to identify.

Arrest records state that Lucie and his dating partner got into an argument at a festival. Lucie reportedly left the festival, and the victim later received a ride to their residence.

According to arrest information, the victim pried open the door to the residence, and the argument continued. After the victim went to a room to lie down, Lucie is accused of getting into a physical altercation with her.

Lucie allegedly punched and wrestled with the victim. Arrest documents state that the woman had cuts and scratches on her upper body and “several whelps on her forehead and face.”

According to arrest records, the victim’s children were present in the home during the altercation.

Lucie is also accused of refusing to give responding deputies his information and refusing to put on clothes and shoes.
