Questions remain after Rosemount police chief placed on leave
Questions still remain over why the Rosemount police chief is on leave.The city’s website does not give a reason why Chief Mikael Dahlstrom was placed on leave last week. It only states that Deputy Chief Carson Thomas will lead the department in the chief’s absence.

Rosemount residents want answers as to why this happened.
“It’s been kind of a shock to people,” Kris Stensberg said. “Nobody seems to know what’s going on. I do believe the city will come out. It’s too big of an issue and he’s too nice of a guy not to give us an answer.”
