Morning pursuit in Harlan Ranch results in 2 arrests
CLOVIS, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A 24-year-old was arrested after allegedly fleeing from officers in a pursuit that ended in Harlan Ranch Sunday morning, the Clovis Police Department announced.

Patrol officers reported that around 6:20 a.m. they attempted to pull over a red 2019 Chevrolet Cruze for a traffic violation when the driver fled.

Police say the pursuit that followed would lead officers from El Paso and Sunnyside avenues to the Harlan Ranch area, where the driver was ultimately arrested. A Fresno Police K9 unit was also called to assist.

Officers report the driver, identified as 24-year-old Esiquiel Rodriguez of Fresno, was arrested on charges including felony evading and possession of a controlled substance. His passenger, police identified as 26-year-old Katrina Gallardo of Sanger, was arrested on charges including public intoxication and obstructing a police officer.

Clovis Police also report that Rodriguez’s car was impounded.
