Man shot and killed in Auburn Gresham

CHICAGO (WGN) — A man was shot and killed Monday in Chicago’s Auburn Gresham neighborhood.

Police responded to the 1600 block of W. 79th St., where just before 5 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 6, officers located a shooting victim.

The male victim, whose age is unknown, suffered multiple gunshot wounds.

First responders rushed the shooting victim to a nearby hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
