Driver killed on Dan Ryan Expressway after large object goes through windshield, according to Illinois State Police
CHICAGO — A driver was killed on the Dan Ryan Expressway early Monday morning after being hit by something that went through their windshield, according to Illinois State Police.
ISP says troopers responded to the I-94 southbound express lanes at 29th Street just after 5 a.m. for a single-vehicle crash. According to ISP, a large object went through the windshield and struck the driver.
The driver was taken to an area hospital and later pronounced dead.
