Later in the day, the Baker District will transform for ARktoberfest from 3 to 7, with VIP ticket holders admitted at 2. The festival includes Arkansas craft beer, food vendors, traditional Oktoberfest games, a kid’s zone and live music by the Ozark Mountain Bluesmen and Bad Habit. Highlights include Mountain Home’s first Beer Mile at 3:30 p.m. and the Stein Hoisting Championship at 6. Proceeds benefit Mountain Home Backpack Food 4 Kids.
Baxter County 4-H will also host a Mini Golf Fundraiser Tournament at Little T’s Mini Golf on Highway 5 North. Check-in begins at 10:30 a.m. Teams of five can enter for $50, with prizes awarded for top scores and special categories. Proceeds support local 4-H workshops, activities and scholarships.
