Rain chances continue Monday, drier rest of week
We are monitoring a disturbance in the Atlantic that will likely become our next named system. It will head to the west and then turn north of the Lesser Antilles as things stand now. We have plenty of time to keep watch on this system.
Locally, drier weather returns to the area beginning Tuesday. Temperatures will rise to near 90 through midweek before a weak, dry-air front settles south of the coast by Friday. There won’t be much change in temperatures behind this front, but it should reinforce dry air and lower rain chances through the weekend.
