Man dies after being struck by vehicle on Indy’s NW side

INDIANAPOLIS – An investigation is underway after a man was struck and killed by a vehicle on Indy’s northwest side Saturday night.

According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, just before midnight, officers responded to the intersection of Cooper Road and Michigan Road on the report of a person struck.

When officers arrived on scene, they located an adult male lying in the road. He was pronounced deceased on scene.

Investigators say they did not find any other vehicle involved at the scene, but they are listing the incident as a fatal accident.
