High pressure to bring warmer temps to Oregon

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Relatively mild and calm weather continues across the Pacific Northwest on Sunday a day after high temperatures failed to get out of the 60s across the metro area.

Sunday’s high temperatures will warm into the low 70s under more sunshine as a ridge of high pressure continues to build over the region for the first half of the coming work week.

The warmer and sunnier weather pattern is expected to last through the middle of this coming week before a chance of showers returns.

All-in-all this coming week looks nice for early fall. We do not see any significant storms in the next 5-7 days.
