WWE’s Angelo Dawkins looks to ‘prove everybody wrong’ during visit on The Finish with Kor & Tor

to discuss the team’s ongoing feud with the Wyatt Sicks — and the nonstop rumors about a potential split.

Kor caught up with Dawkins for a preview of the Profits’ game plan as they prepare to challenge the Wyatts on the Oct. 10 episode of Smackdown for the WWE tag titles.

“Beat the crap out of those dudes, get the titles back, we’re tired of chasing,” Dawkins said.

When asked about a possible singles run, Dawkins didn’t shy away from the idea of a break-up.
“I don’t know, maybe. I know a lot of people have been clamoring for The Street Profits to split up and stuff like that. I mean, if it happens, it happens. I know there’s a lot of talk when it comes to me in that regard, more of the not being successful part. But hey, I just let everybody talk, and then if it happens, I’ll prove everybody wrong.”

That surprising answer led Kor & Tor to another question: how would they repackage the Street Profits as solo wrestlers?

“[When] I see Montez Ford (Dawkins’ current tag team partner), I think of early HBK. I see him being this cocky, high-flying superstar. I think him packaged as a heartthrob kind of character would be pretty interesting for him. I think B-Fab (their current manager) needs to go do something else completely. I don’t think she should stay with either of those guys when they get repackaged. And for Angelo Dawkins, I think he needs a severe, drastic repackaging.”

“I wanna see Dawkins come out like Seth Rollins,” Kor added. “Like crazy clothing, big hat, giant trench coat, big gold necklace or whatever and brooding attitude. Just full-on heel. I wanna see something completely different for him.”

“So I’m on the same page,” said Tor. “I’m thinking more so him in the Wyatt Sicks. That’d be a complete change for him. It would kinda make sense of this story arc of him not being able to defeat his enemies and just aligning with them.

“And Montez Ford, I’ve always seen him as like a future AJ Styles,” Kor continued. “I thought that in NXT years ago. He hasn’t really come into that role yet, but he’s still got a lot of time. AJ has been wrestling for years.”
