Kansas soccer defeats K-State 4-1 in Sunflower Showdown

LAWRENCE (KSNT) – No. 21 Kansas soccer team defeats K-State in Lawrence 4-1 in the Sunflower Showdown.

The Wildcats struck first with a goal from forward Andra Mohler, and the Jayhawks would go on to score four unanswered goals through the rest of the match.

Breakout star for the Jayhawks was Becca Smith, who scored her first two career goals tonight. The other two scores were by midfielders Livvy Moore and Jullian Gregorski.

This Sunday, KU goes on the road to face off against #18 Texas Tech, and K-State heads to Orlando for a matchup against UCF.
