HAMMOND, La. (WGNO) — A man died after a shooting in Hammond on Wednesday, Oct. 1.
According to the Hammond Police Department, a man arrived at North Oaks Medical Center suffering from a gunshot wound. Officers immediately responded to both the hospital and the suspected crime scene. Despite medical efforts, the man died shortly after arriving at the hospital.
HPD officials said the shooting occurred in the area of Apple Street and King Art Street in Hammond.
