(KRON) — Seven suspects who police say are connected to the brazen broad daylight smash-and-grab robbery at a San Jose jewelry store in early September have been arrested, authorities announced Friday.

On Sept. 5 just after 2 p.m., more than a dozen suspects stormed into Kim Hung Jewelry

at 1904 Aborn Road after a vehicle rammed through the front door. As the chaotic scene unfolded, one victim had a firearm pointed at him, the San Jose Police Department said. Security video that captured the incident shows another victim, an elderly man, being forcefully shoved to the ground while struggling with the suspects.

In less than a minute, the mob smashed display cases, stole thousands of dollars worth of merchandise and fled the scene in several vehicles. The elderly victim was hospitalized for non-life-threatening injuries.

Detectives identified seven of the suspects in the violent robbery:

  • Angel Herrera, 21, of Pacifica
  • Toddisha Mayfield, 31, of San Leandro
  • Zakhari Blue-Gordon, 23, East Palo Alto
  • Tom Donegan, 19, of Manteca
  • Jacques Samuel, 18, of San Francisco
  • Cisco Lutu, 18, of South San Francisco
  • Amari Green, 21, of San Francisco

Samuel was arrested on Sept. 22 by the Dublin Police Department. On Tuesday, Herrera was arrested in Pacifica, Mayfield was arrested in San Leandro, Blue-Gordon was arrested in San Jose and Donegan was arrested in Manteca. Lutu and Green were arrested in Antioch on Thursday.
