
On Sept. 5 just after 2 p.m., more than a dozen suspects stormed into Kim Hung Jewelry
In less than a minute, the mob smashed display cases, stole thousands of dollars worth of merchandise and fled the scene in several vehicles. The elderly victim was hospitalized for non-life-threatening injuries.
Detectives identified seven of the suspects in the violent robbery:
- Angel Herrera, 21, of Pacifica
- Toddisha Mayfield, 31, of San Leandro
- Zakhari Blue-Gordon, 23, East Palo Alto
- Tom Donegan, 19, of Manteca
- Jacques Samuel, 18, of San Francisco
- Cisco Lutu, 18, of South San Francisco
- Amari Green, 21, of San Francisco
Samuel was arrested on Sept. 22 by the Dublin Police Department. On Tuesday, Herrera was arrested in Pacifica, Mayfield was arrested in San Leandro, Blue-Gordon was arrested in San Jose and Donegan was arrested in Manteca. Lutu and Green were arrested in Antioch on Thursday.
Evidence of the smash-and-grab robbery was uncovered during the execution of search warrants tied to the suspects, according to authorities. SJPD said they also located a firearm, a loaded magazine, multiple rounds of ammunition and “large quantities” of suspected cocaine.
