Metro Los Angeles saw overcast skies and light drizzle Friday morning thanks to a thick marine layer, which meteorologists say will also be the case on Saturday and Sunday mornings.
The National Weather Service forecasts little change in temperatures through early next week, although a slight warming trend is expected over the weekend due to offshore winds.
“Temps will rise a few degrees in most places Saturday thanks to offshore wind trends,” the Weather Service said in a bulletin. “Not expecting a ton of day-to-day changes in temps in the remainder of the short term.”
The potential for significant rain remains low through the next several days; however, long-range models suggest a potentially more active weather pattern by the end of next week, meteorologists said.
