Widely regarded as SF's best croissant plans to open another bakery
Arsicault is planning to open another location in San Francisco, according to city records. The Arsicault will be at 88 Spear St., which is the former site of a Walgreens that reportedly shuttered years ago.
The bakery registered its business on Sept. 29 for a new storefront in downtown near the Ferry Building. The space is currently undergoing construction as it transitions from pharmacy to bakery.
Arsicault confirmed the opening of the downtown location but did not provide a target opening date.
“Arsicault is proud to be part of Presidio Bay’s contribution to downtown San Francisco’s renaissance. As the city rises, so do our croissants,” owner Armando Lacayo wrote in a statement sent to KRON4.

The Spear Street location will be Arsicault’s fourth — all in San Francisco.
Most recently, in March, Arsicault held the grand opening for its Mission Rock location at 1070 Bridgeview Way. The bakery’s debut drew large crowds and lines out the door.
Arsicault debuted in 2015 on Arguello Boulevard in the Richmond District. The business has built a strong following of more than 44,000 Instagram followers.
